A cooling and refreshing yogurt based accompaniment for biryani’s, curries, grilled foods, etc. It is so versatile, healthy and most importantly scrumptious.



  • 7 tbsp yogurt
  • small bunch coriander
  • small bunch mint
  • 4″ cucumber
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2.5 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice



1. Simply chop up the mint and coriander, deseed the cucumber using a teaspoon and grate it.

2. Measure out all the other ingredients and mix everything together in a bowl. TASTE it, adjust seasoning to your palate.

3. Place it all in a bowl and in the refrigerator to cool down.



Just because this is an Indian dish, it would go spectacularly well alongside some Greek souvlaki!
